Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic ITI Freshers with knowledge of fiber optic cables for a long-term project in Kuwait. The role involves hands-on experience in installing, splicing, and terminating optical fiber cables. Responsibilities include performing fiber blowing, laying, jointing, and OTDR testing, as well as identifying and rectifying fiber faults, breaks, and signal loss. Candidates will also be responsible for carrying out fiber route maintenance and preventive checks, reading and understanding fiber network diagrams and layouts, and utilizing tools such as fusion splicers, power meters, and OTDRs. Effective coordination with supervisors and daily work status reporting are essential. The position requires ensuring safety standards and quality guidelines are followed, supporting network upgrades and new fiber rollouts, and maintaining tools, equipment, and worksite cleanliness.
