Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Painting Supervisor for an international Oil & Gas Shutdown Project in Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all site safety protocols are adhered to, managing permit requirements, and arranging permits for painters. A strong understanding of painting color codes and RAL systems is essential, along with a minimum of 7 years of proven field experience in related oil and gas activities. The role requires proficiency in speaking and written communication, good experience in MS Office (Word and Excel), and the ability to update daily on site painting activities. The supervisor will maintain the attendance roster for painters and helpers, ensure close contact with the concern department, and monitor PTW system closing and any required activities. Familiarity with SAP system for work order closing and follow-up is also required. The current painting crew size is 12, with potential for increase.
Requirements
• Comply with Site basic safety protocols (RM, DT & OOMCO).
• Maintain permit requirements and arrange permits for painters.
• Possess certificated minimum painting Certification either B gas Level II / NACE level -1.
• Fully familiarize with the painting color code and RAL system.
• Minimum field proven experience more than 7 Yrs.
• Work experience shall related oil and gas.
• Speaking and written skills must be in proficient.
• Shall have good experience in MS office (word and excel, power point).
• Day to day update about the site painting activities.
• Maintain the attendance roster for the painters and helpers.
• To be maintained close contact with the concern department.
• On time PTW system closing and monitoring if any thing required.
• Closely monitor the work activities though out the Day.
• SAP system familiarization work order closing and follow up is required with SAP team.
• Maintain Painting Crew, current size is 12 Nos it may increase in future as well.
