Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Painting Supervisor for an international Oil & Gas Shutdown Project in Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the site's basic safety protocols are adhered to, managing permit requirements, and arranging permits for painters. You will also be responsible for certifying minimum painting certifications (B gas Level II / NACE level -1) and ensuring familiarity with the painting color code and RAL system. The role involves managing a minimum of 7 years of field experience, with work experience related to oil and gas. Strong speaking and written skills are essential. You will be expected to maintain close contact with the concern department, monitor PTW system closing and monitoring, and closely monitor work activities throughout the day. SAP system familiarization for work order closing and follow-up is required. The Painting Crew currently consists of 12 members, with potential for increase.
Requirements
• Comply with Site basic safety protocols (RM, DT & OOMCO).
• Maintain permit requirements and arrange permits for painters.
• Possess certified minimum painting Certification (B gas Level II / NACE level -1).
• Fully familiar with the painting color code and RAL system.
• Minimum 7 years of field-proven experience.
• Work experience related to oil and gas.
• Proficient in speaking and written skills.
• Good experience in MS Office (Word and Excel, Power Point).
• Update daily on site painting activities.
• Maintain attendance roster for painters and helpers.
• Maintain close contact with the concern department.
• Monitor PTW system closing and monitoring.
• Closely monitor work activities throughout the day.
• SAP system familiarization for work order closing and follow-up.
• Manage Painting Crew (current size 12 Nos).
