Power Transformer Control Design Engineer - Saudi Arabia

We are looking for a qualified Power Transformer Control Design Engineer to design and control protection systems and accessories for power transformers. The role involves creating schematic control drawings for transformer cubicles, remote-control panels, and tap changers. Responsibilities include preparing customer technical submittals, reviewing customer specifications, and deciding on control panel sizing, component selection, and general arrangement. The engineer will also be responsible for electrical circuit design of transformers with Condition Monitoring systems and different LTC schemes (e.g., MR, ABB). Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with Sales, Purchase, Production, and Quality Assurance departments, as well as suppliers and customers. A minimum of 7 years of experience in transformer design/control within the transformer manufacturing industry is required. Experience with IEC & ANSI standards for transformer control and protection is necessary. A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is mandatory.

• Design of control and protection for Power transformers and familiar with transformer protection systems and Accessories • Responsible for producing schematic control drawing for transformer control cubical, remote-control panel and tap changer • Preparation of Customer Technical Submittals including review of customer specifications • Deciding the control panel sizing, component selection & terminal wiring control panel general arrangement • Electrical circuit design of transformers with Condition monitoring system and different LTC scheme i.e. MR, ABB • Communication with Sales, Purchase, Production, Quality Assurance departments, Suppliers & Customers. • 7 years' minimum experience in Transformer design/Control Department of any Transformer manufacturing company. • Work experience of Transformer control as per IEC & ANSI standards. • Work experience of Design control and protection for Power transformers and familiar with transformer protection systems, Condition monitoring system, LTC scheme, transformer Control cubical and RTCC-Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
