Job Description
We are seeking experienced QA/QC Engineers with structural inspection experience for opportunities in the UAE. This role requires a strong understanding of welding processes, symbols, structural drawings, and defect analysis. Candidates must possess relevant certifications and a solid educational background in Mechanical or Welding Engineering. The position involves ensuring quality standards are met throughout construction, oil & gas, shipbuilding, steel fabrication, power plants, and offshore projects. Excellent documentation skills, including weld maps and NDT reports, are essential.
Requirements
• Certifications: AWS CWI / CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2, BGAS / TWI – Painting Inspectors, ASNT Level II (MT/PT/UT/RT)
• Education: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Welding Engineering
• Knowledge: Welding Processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW), Welding Symbols & Structural Drawings, AWS D1.1 / ASME Section IX, Welding Defects & Metallurgy Basics
• Documentation: Weld Maps & NDT Reports, Welder Qualification Records & NCRs
• Experience: Structural Inspection Experience Required
