Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Safety Officer for a leading Oil & Gas company in Qatar. The role involves ensuring adherence to HSE regulations and promoting a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in oil and gas automation projects and possess basic electrical safety awareness. Responsibilities include conducting HSE training, mobilizing personnel to offshore/onshore sites, and managing safety protocols during normal operations and shutdowns. Accommodation and transport will be provided.
Requirements
• Engineering/Diploma qualification with NEBOSH IGC, 3-5+ years of HSE experience in oil & gas automation projects, and basic electrical safety awareness.
• Preferred Lead Auditor certification (ISO 14001 & 45001) with familiarity in customer HSE requirements and approvals from major oil & gas operators.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and language skills (Fluent English; Hindi/Tamil an advantage) with good computer proficiency in MS Office.
• Capable of delivering HSE training, mobilizing to offshore/onshore sites, and working during normal operations and shutdowns.
