Job Description
We are urgently recruiting Steel Fixers (RCC) for a prominent construction company in the Maldives. This is a long-term position with provided free food and accommodation. The role involves accurately placing and tying reinforcing steel bars (rebar) according to structural drawings for reinforced concrete structures. Candidates must have a strong understanding of rebar specifications and construction safety.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Steel Fixer, particularly for RCC structures.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and rebar schedules.
• Skilled in cutting, bending, and tying steel bars.
• Knowledge of different types of reinforcing steel and their applications.
• Understanding of concrete construction practices.
• Adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
